Also known as Four point insurance inspection, This Inspection is typically requested of your Insurance Company for homes ranging from 35 – 50 years old. The age requirement may vary depending on the insurance agency. Hence the name, an inspection of this type is focused on 4 areas of the home (The Roof, Plumbing System, Electrical System and the HVAC System).
During a 4 Point Inspection, the condition, type and approximate age of the various components will be identified and recorded. Any deficiencies will be identified, and the client may be requested by the insurance company to replace any of the components and/or systems if the findings prove them to be deficient.
